Still decent crunchers? I am thinking of turning this system into a secondary cruncher when the FX 8350, 990FX, and DDR 3 2133 come in. Got a spare case already. Just need a good PSU and spare hard drive thrown in. Seemed like my old 5850 performed well in milkyway.
 
They're decent for Primegrid. They should be great at distributed.net and, last I heard, bitcoin.
 
Looks like the 5850/5870s are still going at a good price. Lots of bitcoin mining like Ken said. I think I'm going to go ahead and sell my Phenom 2 965, 790x board, and the 4GB G.Skill RAM. Probably better off dropping another GPU into my main rig.
