radeon 4850 or 4670 for a phenom 9150e?

im thinking of buying either of these cards to play fallout 3 whenever it comes out.


was wondering if its not even worth bothering with the 4850 ? i'm not sure the 9150e can really take advantage of it.

If you crank up the res you'd be GPU bottlenecked anyway...plus you can overclock the 9150e if you wanted.

Go for the 4850. The difference in CPU performance by price tiers is measured in percents, the difference in GPU performance is (more or less) measured in factors of 2. In other words, you can overclock your $100 CPU and get the performance of a $200 CPU, but a $100 GPU will never overclock to that of a $200 GPU.
