Radeon 4850 + 4770 Crossfire

Is it possible to Crossfire a Radeon 4850 512-MB with a Radeon 4770 512-MB?
Furthermore, if it's possible, is it a good idea, or will the performance differences between these two cards (5%-10%, IIRC) make it not worthwhile?

AFAIK, no you can't. You could crossfire a 4850 with a 4870 or 4890. They have to be based on the same chip.
