And for $15 more you can get a 4670. And for $15 more you can get a 9600gt.

Believe me, I get it. There is always better performance for $15 more. But never forget, its $15!

Some people with dated systems (P4 3.2ghz/Athlon 3500+'s) will not see any performance gains spending that $15 extra. A whole lot of people still game with those kind of systems.

i agree it is not a bad deal.... especially given the ddr2 memory and 128bit bus, the jump to a 4650 wont be huge.

during the 72 hour sale the power color 4650 was $36. for $11 maybe it would be worth it, especially since the 4650s have better hdmi audio as well (especially if you were using either in htpc). the 3650 happens to use less power a swell which is a nice added benefit.

I actually had this power color 3650 before. the fan is reasonably quiet. quieter than the sapphire fans anyway.

I would certainly believe so.

Some games wont even play on an X800 due to it being shader model 2.

definately an upgrade from x800. and i didn't mean anything by the 4650 comment, just pointing it out to anyone on the fence. ;)

i'd say faster than all of those. the 7900GS is probably about as fast in some games, but newer games the 3650 will win.

I'd say its about equal to a 6800gt slower than a 7900GS and faster than a x1650pro

It wont be much of an upgrade over the x800 either performance wise (albeit older shader level)

Its a decent card for money however I would wait for a sale on the 4650 if you can hold out a little longer.

Anandtech benchmarks show it to be as good or a little slower then the 8600gt/9500gt.

Saying it to be equal to the 6800gt is crazy. Looks to even beat out that 7800gt of yours :D

Maybe for the DDR3 version, this is the DDR2 part. So actually its not to crazy, and it is indeed at 6800gt levels.

If you do any gaming at all, a $40 HD4670 is a much better value; the next major performance level is at ~$80.
