No. Ive put my 5500 back in my system. The Radeon 32 ddr is to slow. it stutters in rune big time and in need for speedpu it also stutters in 32 bit 1024x768 my 5500 plays 1024x768 with 2xfsaa and 32 bit just fine.

If you can get it working properly which most people do then its a great card. The quality in 3d is better than the nvidia cards in games like q3. 2D is hands down better. Myself personally i have been having major problems with it locking up in Q3...but i suspect it has alot to do with my chipset on my mobo and drivers. I think ive finally gotten it stable as it did not lock up on me after 1 1/2 hours of hardcore play. I'd get it over a geforce2 mx but i dont know over a GTS.

I have a 32 MB DDR Radeon and a voodoo5 5500 agp, tried them both out in P3-450 with 192 mb of Ram.

The voodoo5 is faster at high resultions in every game except Quake 3, but the voodoo5 has better grphics quality in q3 than the Radeon. overall the voodoo5 has better graphics quality in 2d, and 16bit or 32 bit 3d. I notice the Radeon's 16 bit graphics quality is better than i expected, but the 32 bit graphics quality is worse than I expected.

the card is stable, with very few lock ups or crashes in games, but many games have graphics glithes, 32 bit has more problems than 16 bit which seems odd to me.

Also quick time picture viewer no longer works with the radeon.

so I feel the voodoo5 is a better more round card than the radeon, but the radeon cost less
