All cards using the Radeon (R100) core will be recognized by ATi drivers as Radeon 7200s, as that's ATi's new designation for the R100 core.
As for performance, the Radeon LE is clocked to 150/150 stock, but uses Samsung 6ns (166mhz) ram. My Radeon LE was completely stable at 190/190 core and memory clocks (using the stock heatsink), so just download an overclocking utility such as the Rage3D tweaker or Powerstrip.
Just like the Radeon 8500, the older Radeons also have the advantage of ATi's intelligent anisotrophy, so you can enable that with only a minor performance hit as well. I think both overclocking utilities I mentioned above have anisotrophy adjustments (I've heard that the sliders that appear in the newer drivers for the Radeon 8500's anisotrophy don't appear for the older Radeons, so you can't adjust it without either a registry edit, an in-game adjustment support, or an overclocking utility).
Edit: Also, if you're using a Win9x/Me OS, then search the web for "Detonator Destroyer". It's a utility that will eliminate all traces of nVidia drivers from your system, to prevent conflicts.
