I currently have a Radeon 32 and I'm thinking about upgradding to the VIVO 64 version.
Can't seem to find any benchmarks that test both cards.
Most of them are 64 vs Geforce cards.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Or tell me the performance difference percentage.

Just got a Sony CPD-G500 it's crying for higher resolutions =).

there really isnt a whole lot of difference in performance. The Retail 64mb VIVO is clocked from the factory at a higher speed. The only advantage is when games start using very large textures, the 64mb is going to give you better speed since you will not transfer textures over the AGP bus. Case in point, Quake 3. Using the largest texture size and no Texture Compression, a 32mb card will choke on some levels of Quake 3..like Hero's Keep, whereas a 64mb card will see minimal slowdown if any. Turn on TC and both cards will perform about the same, but then you gotta deal with an ugly sky.

And, texture space requirements are only increasing as game complexity increases, so dont expect a 32mb card to have a life expectancy of a 64mb card.

It's a decent little upgrade currently and can only get better. VIVO is nice as well.

Probably not worth it unless you can get the 64 MB for cheap and get rid of your 32 MB. There's not too much of a difference, better to wait for the Radeon 2.

Ive had each of theses cards, the 32 meg i had ran at 190 so theres not a big differnce in the speed untill you go higher than 1024x768 than the 64 meg is faster, and hits the HD less.
