Radeon 266 Problem

Radeon 266 problem
I just updraded from a Duron 900 to a Athlon XP 1600+, I am running an AOpen AK77Plus with 256mb ddr. I have been using this same motherboard/ram combination with the radeon for a while at 100mhz with the duron, but now that I am using 266 with the athlon XP, I get crashes at agp4x w/ 1400 (default clock). I changed to agp2x and I can boot but just a few seconds of UT freezes it up. Underclocking to 1050 (100x10.5 instead of 133x10.5) fixes it perfectly. Has anyone else had any problems? I did a search of the forum to no avail. If you have any ideas let me know.

and a 300 Watt ATX Powersupply.

On boot with optimal settings under agp (4x w/ 128 aperature) I get a hard freeze and then on windows boot with lower settings this is what is wants to send to MS.
