Hello I have a Radeon x 1950 XT
First off I was hoping someone could give me a current card that this compares to in power - I have been out of the loop for 3-4 years -
Next I was wondering If I bought a new Graphics card would I be able to keep the 1950 xt with some type of crossfire setup ?
Thanks

Ok I have an e4300 for a CPU
Power supply 500w
2 GB of Ram
Thanks For the link
Was Hoping there was a mobo I could by with crossfire built in or whether it would be worth it

If your gaming @ 1650x1050 gts 250 or 5750
@ 1900x1080 5770 or gtx 260

What motherboard do you have? Mabe you can upgrade the cpu cheap.

Full system specs would help (including brand and model of motherboard, PSU etc).
Monitor and games played (for resolution and detail) would also improve advice.

As for the old 1950xt, most modern low-mid range cards would easily keep up with it. I'm sure OP isn't looking to get a new card that can only match 1950xt performance - and no, crossfire isn't necessary unless you are high-res, high-end.

That link one of the posters had above is super helpful - I've been looking for something similar, thanks.

Why not just get a 5770?
