My wife's pc has an original Radeon 32mg All-In-Wonder video card. We had a hard drive failure and I had to reinstall everything from scratch. Her TV tuner used to work with XP, but I can't find her original installation CD.

I installed the latest Catalyst 3 suite that was listed for this card on the ATI site:

Display driver
WDM Capture driver
ATI Control Panel

There is no TV tuner software/drivers with this suite. I have the latest drivers for the TV-Wonder PCI. Can I use them? If not, what should I use and where should I get them?

You need to install MMC, you'll need the original CD only for the DVD seperate download, but the TV app, file player ect are all included.

I uninstalled the control panel, installed the latest MMC, re-installed the latest control panel and still no TV tuner. I was given the option to install it with the MMC, but it doesn't work. I only get the video-in options when I run the TV.

I then un-installed the MMC and Control Panel again. Installed the Codecs for Microsoft. Re-installed MMC and CP with the same results.

Any other suggestions?

Do you have 6 entries in device manager under "Sound video and game controllers" starting with "ATI WDM ...."

Have the same card,

Ati drivers are very picky (tis my experience) and I would suggest uninstalling all Ati drivers (catalyst, wdm, control panel, mmc).

Completely reinstall beginning with catalyst, WDM, Control, MMC in that order. It usually works for me. I have had problems when installing different parts out of order or upgrading different portions by itself.

Also, that is a good suggestion by rbv5 to check and make sure XP recognizes the those multiple drivers with the many hardware that's on your card.

Install the catalyst's and control panel then install mmc. You can get mmc here
ATI optional software After MMC is installed go to your device manager and you should have a bunch of exclamation points under sound and multimedia devices. Update driver for each one and point it to the folder the mmc exe made. Usually c:\ati\....
