Rack Rate VS. Corporate Rate

So, I am trying to book a room for my vacation this summer and i see two different rates on the website:a corporate rate and a rack rate. The difference in price is pretty big, so i am wondering what these mean, and can I get the cheaper corporate rate??!!

I need your help!

in order to qualify for the corporate rate, you need to be involved in some company related event such as a nearby conference or such and your company will be staying at that hotel.

there is no regular rate for the room though
