I'm about finished with my home data closet.... Everything in there will be 19" rack mounted when it is finished....
So.... I want my DSL modem and the switch/router to be rack mountable as well...
I'm not having much luck on finding rack mountable dsl routers and modems...
I like the Netgear RT314 as a switch router. It is less than 1U tall which is good, but is way narrower than tandard rack components. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to make/find a 1U bracket that will hold it?
Same thing on the modem.... I have no idea what kind of modem I'll get from my service, but I suspect it will be one of those narrow globular looking things that is designed to clutter up some horizontal surface...
Any help would be appreciated... My HP Hub, data/telco patch panel, and SAT/ANT coax patch panel are all rack mountable.... as are most of my home theater components (which will also eventually migrate to the closet), so I don't want misc components hanging around external to the closet or cluttering up the inside of the closet....
Thanks,
