I am looking at getting a Rackmount UPS and saw someone selling a Compaq UPS R1500 (not the XR version).

Here are the specs on it: Link.

Any Thoughts?
 
If the price is right, I'd say go for it. Don't have first-hand experience with them, only APCs.
 
I wonder if these aren't simply rebranded rackmount APC SmartUPSen?

Before you decide on a UPS, check on the cost of replacement batteries. For some reason I seem to recall some 2U RM UPSes contain 4 batteries which means replacing them might be expensive.
