Rack mount noise issues

Long story short we bought a new server and it is much louder than everything else we have in the rack currently. So loud that even if we close the door we can hear it in the neighboring offices. The old servers are probably 2-3 years old. Has anybody had any experience in quieting a noisy server rack or even with this case?
