you can be offended by anything if you choose to be. Dont buy the ice cream/ dont listen to comedians if it offends you. I am sick of worrying if someone prefers the term "black" or "african american". When I fill out forms for the doctor/ school etc, there are all kinds of boxes for race, should I be offended because my box says "white"? We are to the point that everyone has to walk on eggshells for fear of being accused of ignorance/ racism.

How about because this was how black people were treated for a longass time. As animals and beasts of burden. There are levels of poking fun and this one crosses the line.

P.S. having said that, i don't fvcking care about the stupid ad, because that's what it is, a stupid ad, with us stupid people falling into the trap and discussing its stupidity. and anyway I like klondike bars so i don't care.

First of all, I'm not a PC hound, I could give a rats ass about most stuff. Secondly, equating a caricature that is developed by a company, marketed and sold in to a marketplace with a dumb ass comedian is ridiculous, especially in a country like Germany which has a very poor history when it comes to racial tolerance. I doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the difference, it would be similiar to walking in to Home Depot and buying rope with a caricature of a black man hanging off a tree.. Of course you would probably find some way to justify that as well.
