Native jews have always been second class to the Ashkenazi interlopers.

Man the Zionist mobs are the same as the white supremacists here. Scared to death of black people. Only thing that was missing was "AMERICANS WILL NOT REPLACE US!"

Say aren't there religious Zealots in Israel that basically live as "Welfare Queens"? I did read some articles about them harassing women who don't live according to their "rules" and going so far as to throw rocks at Schoolgirls attending a girl only school that was near one of their Enclaves.

Useless religious extremist with political power. All in the name of some dusty arab folk tales.
Every country has a version to go along with whatever the major religion is.

Indeed, the U.S. town with the highest rate of people on food stamps is the all-Hasidic New York village of New Square, north of New York City, where 77 percent of residents rely on the program to eat, according to a new report.
https://www.foxnews.com/us/insular-...e-customs-as-legal-and-social-pressures-build

In 2015, the New Jersey state controller's office flagged the disproportionate sums of government money being absorbed by Lakewood. The town didn't look poor by any conventional yardsticks of poverty.

"You have a family or six or seven or eight, somebody is paying the mortgage, somebody is paying the taxes, they have two cars in the driveway, they've got food for all the kids … and they're reporting their total income at $10,000,'' said Joseph Coronato, the Ocean County prosecutor who took the lead in the case. "You have to ask — what is going on here?''

In one case unsealed by the court in June, a couple with six children are alleged to have reported their income at $39,000 per year — low enough to qualify for Medicaid — when in fact they were getting more than $1 million annually from a limited liability corporation.

https://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-new-jersey-orthodox-20170923-story.html

The price we’re paying came up this week in a seemingly arcane statistic about the labor participation rate of ultra-Orthodox men published by the treasury. The percentage of working-age Haredi men who hold a job or are actively looking dropped in the past 18 months below 51%, from a peak of 53.8%. By comparison, for non-Haredi Jewish men, the rate is 87.6%.

So what?

For any economy to prosper, it needs to have as much of its adult population as possible in the workforce to produce goods, perform services and pay taxes (as against seeking government help). For many years, Haredim in Israel have preferred their men to shun work in favor of full-time religious study, and a growing system of government support starting in the late 1970s enabled them to do that.

By the early 2000s, as the percentage of nonworking ultra-Orthodox climbed and the community’s population swelled, the situation was becoming economically intolerable. The money going to allowances was a strain in the budget and Israel’s low labor participation rate was a growing drag on the economy.

Looking ahead, the problem will only grow worse as Israel’s population ages and the growth of the overall workforce slows. In short, if the ultra-Orthodox don’t begin to hold up their end of the economy, our children and grandchildren will be a lot poorer. If they don’t serve in the army, we will also be a lot less secure, for lack of recruits.

Shouldn't normal adults be responsible and self-supporting? And I though that "Welfare Queens" were mostly a myth, but it really sure looks like some Societies have a major problem.

What exactly do they do, they pray all day?

In America poor women are taught by their mothers how to work the welfare system. Politics and race aside there is a pervasive culture among poor people of learning to work the system. You spend most of your days in line with mommy at Social Services applying for the myriad of programs available and now that is what you know how to do. Rich people rape taxpayers too, but this isn't about that.

You'll find this in poor communities of all races in America so there is no arguing that it's just blacks or just Trump supporters. Americans of all colors living in squalor equally rely on social programs because that is all they have in front of them. If you are a business owner there is a large chance you are a GOP and you are railing against welfare for poor people. And yet when some scumbag comes through the door looking like he just woke up in the alley CAUSE HE DID instead of giving him a chance you call the cops. You're paying for these folks one way or the other. It would be better to hire them and make them productive instead of paying for their jail, their public defender, their food stamps, their halfway house, their medical treatment, and so on. Thanks, assholes.

Time for a Living Wage handed out to all, financed by 70% tax on corporations and the ultra-rich. We don't need them. America was born on mom and pop shops. MAGA.

Hindsight is 2020 ;)

Edit - not super serious about the living wage but the Socialist wave is coming so who knows. Reparations for all :D

@1sikbITCH A Basic Income scheme might be doable if setup properly and have requirements that grown adults do something productive. Even if it is watching someones else kids who can't afford daycare.

lol Israel isn't really any different than America, it's stratified on racial lines with white Jews (Ashkenazi) on top.

To be honest I don't see much if any difference between one group of folks claiming to be the Master Race and another group of people making the claim that they are the Chosen People of some "god". With both groups claiming the right to land never mind any other Cultural/Ethnic groups already living there.

Israel has been a fascist state a while already, and as long as you support the current government it doesn't matter how extremist you are, they will only intervene if you cross the line so far that the even US starts complaining too.

The welfare stuff:

It's amazing how similar Orthodox Jews are to Saudi Wahhabists, sounds like they have their own community backed morality police.

Those who study their "holy books" for 18 hr days and been doing for years should have those committed to memory and should start learning useful skills.
