BUMP for today's update!

We had two milestone makers today. Congrats to MolecA for crossing 900K and to Networkman for crossing 400K!! 🙂

Another day, another 10,000 blocks closer to one million. eRr had a great day yesterday, doing more than 25,000 blocks. At this rate, we'll be at one million within a week. Keep it up guys!

Nick

Apple, Don't forget to update my personal race to 1M 😉 but I don't think it's much to worry about, I should get there. Any done 1M in less that 100 days?

Apple, I looked at your herd page and there is no ways you're getting that key rate from those hosts alone. what are you hiding? coz at this rate I'll never catch you. 🙁

As we draw another day closer to one million, the plot begins to thicken. With 55,000 blocks to go, I've only got a thin 18,000 block lead over MolecA, and CetiAlphaV isn't giving up either. Stay tuned folks, this one will be close!

BTW, MolecA, I do need to update my herd page. FYI, my herd now consists of:

15 Duron 750MHz. (actually running at between 750-800MHz.) that are on 24/7
8 iMac 233MHz. that are on whenever they are turned on (infrequently)
4 iMac 350MHz. that are on 8/7
2 Power Mac G3 266MHz. that are on 24/7
1 Pentium III 733MHz. that is on 8/6

Edit: Yesterday's output was more like a day and a half for me, though, since the teamanandtech.com pproxy was down for the part of the previous day. I average about 13,000 a day.

Nick

Of course it is still possible that I could do a massive dump and close the gap a bit... 😉

Hehe.. 2 Power Mac G3 266MHz. that are on 24/8 eh? :Q That would explain your stats - sneaking in an extra day of production each week - clever! 😛

BUMP for today's update! eRr passed 800K today, congrats!

Hehe Networkman, I wish I could sneak in an extra day. That would be too cool! 🙂

Nick

Thanks for the update.

At the rate this is going, This race is gonna be over in another week.

Should we set a new mark for ourself and shoot for 1.5 Million or 2 million ?

🙂

eRr

I've updated the thread for today.

Barring any unforseen difficulties, this race should be over within a couple of days. err suggests that we have a rematch. So, anyone up for a race to 1.5M, 2M, or another figure? My Durons and I are ready . . . 😉

Nick

AppleTalking, You should probably advertise your race to all of us in Anandtech who have about 1 million block and see if anyone else want to join. (I am not even close) 😛

Anyway, this is fun. It makes cracking RC5 to have its own purpose.

BUMP for today's update!

It looks like this race has only got one more day left; I hope to pass one million tomorrow. I'd like to thank all of you in advance for a great race. It certainly spurred me on to a better keyrate. I'm going to start another thread for a race to 1.5 million. Everyone is welcome to join me!

Nick

Dasm! I fell short of 1 million by 103 blocks!! 😱 I guess I jinxed it with that last comment. I would have passed it if stats weren't a little low for today (I'm missing 1,000 blocks). Oh well, there's always tomorrow right?

Nick

... and the race continues! Appletalking just can't seem to capture the victory. First, 1000 missing blocks and then an extremely lenghtly stats run. Stay tuned as this nail biter continues.

Well, this will be the last update of the racing thread. I won the race to 1.0M with MolecA close behind. MolecA won his race against the clock. See you all in the next race!

i'm racing for the top 10 on the pproxy. this is going to take a little time and my manager keeps taking my cows on my test lan offline, damn it!
