Can you honestly tell me that you wouldn't care if you were Wheldon? Every other Indianapolis 500 immediately starts talking about the winning driver when the race is over. Including when they do their victory lap and anything else. I never saw a victory lap. edit: I guess my point on this is they should have just renamed it the Danica Patrick 500. The race obviously wasn't about Indianapolis, it wasn't about the other drivers, it wasn't about the cars and it certainly wasn't about the winner. The whole point of this race was to show off the cute little driver they gained and look how close to the big boys she can run.

Why am I a moron? Granted, I saw much more of her driving than any other rookie on the track but what I saw I didn't like. She had trouble keeping the car heading in a straight line and caused a pretty nasty crash by not paying enough attention. Very little time was spent concentrating on any aspect of the race other than how she was running. I fail to see how was I said was incorrect. The whole race was about her.

Sure she made a few "rookie" moves but it made the race interesting. Her stalling, her bumping matsura, her causing a wreck and tearing off her wing, and then surviving ALL that to make it back up to first. There wasn't any other driver in that race that i saw that was fighting for the victory as much as she was. Although they did focus primarily on her, it was clear it was for good reason, she made the race this year worth watching, even though we never got to see any boobage like we all hoped
