ok.. a few weeks ago I had a custumer in my store for a very long time, he was being a pain and wuodnt leave, we started talking about digital camaras, i told him one of the camaras was going on clearace for 79$ the next day (it was 189$ that day) so he said id love to buy it, and i said ok come back tommorow ill put it aside for u since its our last one also the display model. He said any way u can give it to me today for that price? i said let me give my manager a call and see what he says, so i called him, my manager said yea sure. so I said ok to the custumer, and the custumer said can u get me anymore? I looked around a few other stores had them as there display ones, so the custumer said can you get me 2 more for my kids? I said sure, so I called my manager and asked him if i should sell them in store, or just have the custumer pick them up. he said sell them here, I said are u sure? ur lossing alot of money. he said yea whatever. So I sold them out of our store. and had the custumer pick them up. Since all the camaras were display models I had to give him a "premimum warrenty" on each one, since were supposed to do that on anything open. Cusomer left the store happy, manager came in later that night, realized how much money he lost and flipped out on me, i said but u told me its fine! the he also noticed the preimum warrenty on everything and he told me to get out of the store. I coudnt get in touch with the disctict manager since she was on vacation. after getting in touch with her, she looked into it and said i was let go, since its basically a "he said, she said situation" and she cant figure anything out. And she said one of the papers I signed when i was hired said that neither myself or the manager is authorized to make any type of price change. I was not aware of this policy, and if this is the case, the manager had to right to authorize the price change and none of this would have happened.
