Jessi Combs Is Officially the Fastest Woman on Earth.

The Guinness Record was posthumously awarded to Combs, who died during her 522-mph run in August. :beercheers:

I've gone 175-185 on a big sport-bike a few times and its pretty damn scary ... I can't imagine 500+ mph in anything other then a jet aircraft!

Lets just say the wind itself becomes a howling banshee that wants to rip you out of the saddle at anything above roughly 150 and dips in the road you don't even notice at normal driving speeds can feel like a jump.

I've only driven about 130 MPH but that was in a car and considering how uneven the road was, I was steering w/ finger tips! I couldn't imagine anywhere near 175 on a road bike I must say Captante! :flushed:

It was on relatively flat straight and empty highway all the times I went that fast. The first time was on a friends ZX-12R a hair over 170 to be exact. I had a Suzuki 1200 Bandit at the time (tuned-down, more upright GSX-R) which my buddy was riding and it was far from slow but the Ninja ate its breakfast easily.

Almost exactly like this one:

Crazy thing is that tucked in behind the fairing you have no idea how fast you are moving until well after you've surpassed ludicrous-speed on a full-fairing big Japanese sport-bike. The only other times I've felt eyeball-flattening acceleration like that have been taking off in airliners.

And that's a 2015 bike nosing out the F16 and full-on F1 race car. To be fair add a bit to the race and both the F1 car and the Jet (obviously) would outrun the H2R.

Results against that Veyron and the other "Supercars" however were laughable.

All I can say is that it takes a set to go that fast on two wheels, controlled environment or not Captante! :beercheers:

As a F1 fan, that video was amazing! A little after the 2 minute mark, the bike lifts the front wheel! :openmouth:

That bike has in the area of 300 hp .... a bit like putting a saddle on a rocket!

Going by power to weight ratio a Veyron would need over 2800 hp just to to keep up.

Not doing the math I believe it from watching the video Captante, a must see for "gear heads!" :beercheers:
