Sorry if this might be the wrong forum. let me know.

Im looking to get some descent rabitt ears for my TV to get better reception for local and national channel (CBC, im in canada). Where would i go to get one of these?

Try a coaxial cable with an Alligator Clip on the end center wire. I usually have better luck with that than any rabbit ears.
 
Nobody has ever found a set of rabbit ears that works great....

If you are serious, try an antenna on the roof or in the attic..just make sure its grounded
