Diamond is the AIB, but, all they did is slap their name on it, it is still a AMD reference design.

I guess the Fury fire sale continues with these low prices...

Cheapest I see a Nano for on newegg is $420 after rebate.

However, if you want the full fury, then newegg has it for $290.

I'm kind of sad, because both AMD and Nvidia are withholding tech that could demolish the current stuff that's out (even the GTX 1080), yet they won't because releasing the new tech too fast will lead to a crash in price for the enthusiast cards of the last gen. Yes, they've tumbled, but in a year, $100 cards from both will be comparable in performance to the 980ti and Fury cards. I understand the logic, but even as prices fall, they don't fall as fast as they should for the consumers.

The other aspect is that the only thing that is driving high-end cards is 4K output. We've been running 1080p for more than a decade, all the while, GPU tech has caught up and surpassed it. 4K is 4 times the bandwidth, though... last year's high-end cards still struggle at 4K. HBM2 and newer revs of Pacal and Polaris will demonstrate there is still a lot of breathing room to improve the current gen cards.

That said, this is still a great deal, but I typically have a lot of "rollover" in my equipment, with 4 desktops that get upgrades/hand-me-downs, so buying a new card in the next year or two ends up giving everybody in the house a performance bump. If you have a 3~4 year upgrade cycle, you might want to stick with it, as these cards should get cheaper (and most definitely should BE cheaper, were it not for the companies holding back)

did AMD fix the coil whine issues on the Nano that I read about a while ago?
