R9 390 - artifacts at 63 degrees

Hello

Basically, according to my observation a soon as my 390 reaches ~63 degreees °C it starts artifacting and eventually black screen is up. After a cool off I can restart PC normally. If I force the fans to higher speed via afterburner I can run unigine heaven on ultra without any problems whatsoever. This started happening this week, worked fine for a year and a half.

Anything else I can do or is the card a dud and should go straight to warranty?

You might want to clean the heatsink, and reapply the thermal compound. (I have seen some units with dust that is just NASTY, and it clogs up everything).
Or, just RMA it.

Are you sure that those temps are right? Seems super low. I'd say rma though you might end with a 480 replacement if they are out of 390s
