This topic not intents to advise a promo, but rather discuss VGA prices of the Halo-Class/High-End products.

Well, i'm not American, so i not check US prices very often. But it seems to be a great deal for its price. 30(worst case at under 900p) to 75(best case at 4k) percent best performance over reference GTX 980 for this price is very good.

The only drawback i found is some few users on the Eggstore advertising cooling problems with the PCB components(like Vrms) of the 295X2(the cooler system seems to be undersized for the card).

AMD needs to make official this price cuts so we from other countries will see its cards at very good price too.

Its a really good deal for what was a super niche product just a few months ago.

Its still not a crazy value though for the 'average' enthusiast that isn't going to crossfire them. 290x's are down to 300 bucks now, so this gets you a single card + liquid cooling for $200 more than CF.

Still a bit more than some 2x R9 290X's, but $800 is probably a good price for it. Wish I had $800 to blow on a video card... I know where it'd go!

It'd go into 2x R9 290's and two water blocks. ;)

That is a good deal. I would still choose 2x290x but for someone who wanted the watercooling for their GPUs anyways this is a great deal. Personally I would rather spend the extra 150 to 200 on games. There is also the point that if you get 2 290x's you could sell one of the game vouchers for 40ish.
