R9 290X MST Hub Questions And Issues

Just curious, has anyone experienced any MST Hub Issues? The one issue I am running into using R9 290X with (3) Asus 25" monitors running in Portrait is that very often, the monitors all take turns blinking on and off.

I have tried two of the MST Hubs from Club3D, with no luck. I am writing to see if anyone may have a possible solution for this.

I have attempted the following:
-Replaced MST Hub
-Different DisplayPort cables
-Different Power Source (I heard this issue can be caused by insufficient power to the hub)
-I ran Eyefinity using DVI/HDMI/DP and it worked flawlessly; the reason I am using the Hub is because I have 5 displays; ideally I want to use the MST Hub and either the DVI or HDMI for the other 2.
-Upon restarts, the Hub loses sight of the displays as if nothing were plugged into it, also very frustrating.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Apologies if this is the wrong thread, I was unsure of whether to post here or Computer Help.

I have 3 DVI cables with DVI -> DP adapters on each end. I will try these cables tonight.

Whoa, these hubs actually exist? I was waiting for them for so long that I had given up paying attention.

Not all DP cables are created equal. Many of them don't follow the Vesa guidelines and have been giving users fits for years now with Eyefinity.

I know Accell cables are to spec and have fixed many-a-issue with Eyefinity.

Thanks, I am currently using these Monoprice cables (http://www.monoprice.com/Product/?c...1024601&p_id=10582&seq=1&format=2#description)

I now have the following setup:

(2) of the displays connected to the hub.
(1) display connected via HDMI
(2) displays connected via DVI

It seems much more stable, however, the problem does still exists, but not as much. What could the reason for this be? I also tried re-plugging the 3rd displayport monitor back in, and the problem worsened and happened more frequently (monitor losing signal and coming back).
