R9 290 Dual display

I have a XFX R9 290 on Windows 8.1. I have a monitor as the primary display and TV as the secondary display. When media player is playing on the TV and I turn on my monitor, it moves media player to the monitor automatically for some reason. Is there a way to keep media player on the TV?
