R9 290 DPC Latency

Recently updated from a r7 265 to a r9 290, on a i7 4790k CPU. Running a Gigbyte Gaming 4 mobo with 32 gigs of ram. When I listen to music, game, or watch a movie I get consent crackling coming through my speakers. I am not running my sound through the HDMI port but rather the audio out off the mobo. I just ran a DPC checker and I am getting everything red. I was hoping someone had some suggestions on how to fix this without having to reformat my hard drive...

Cheers!

I would use DDU to do a total uninstall of your current drivers, and then install the newest ones.. If that doesn't work, you should also make sure that your motherboard's audio drivers are up to date. Uninstall them if necessary, and reinstall the latest version if you haven't done so already. Also, make sure that you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard.
