So I picked up a Sapphire R9 285 DualXOC

I overclocked it some more.
Stock

  • Core: 965
  • Memory: 5.6ghz
Overclock

  • Core: 1145, +18.7%
  • Memory: 6.340ghz (1585), +13.2%
That's a core frequency increase of 180mhz, and a 740mhz increase in memory speed.

Stock vs Overclocked synthetics:
TessMark, Image Set 4, 64x Tessellation

  • Stock: 134fps ~1.47b polygons/second
  • OC: 188fps ~ 2.06b polygons/second (I think I did the math right.)
    • 40% improvement??? I'm not sure about this one, but maybe the extra bandwidth really pays off, idc.
3D Mark Vantage Texel Fill

  • Stock: 91.1 Gigatexels/sec
  • OC: 112.42
    • +23%
3D Mark Vantage Pixel Fill

  • Stock: 19.9 Gigapixels/sec
  • OC: 22.48
    • +13%

I'm not really sure how to do a proper game bench, and my cpu is pretty anemic. I could do stock vs. oc profiles as long as people keep in mind that my cpu is probably bottlenecking performance to some degree.

That would actually be good. Just list the specs. Any Mantle games, if you have any, would be very informative.
