R9 280x with Centrifugal Fan

Apart from the AMD reference design, is there another manufacturer with Centrifugal Fan Design?
I don't like 250W-300W inside my case with two-three axial fans...

The reference cards all have blowers. The problem with blowers is they are typically far louder and don't work as well.

An open air cooler is far more efficient and a lot quieter. It is not hard to get that air out of the case.

blowers are better for small cases though, I wish HIS made more of their special blower style coolers for higher end cards, they stopped production of the 7900 series blowers over a year ago though.

I agree. Better to stick with a reference model when using a small case. Case airflow is important and not to be ignored.
