I'm using an MSI Armor2x R7 370 as a replacement until my RX 470 comes back and it seems like every time I play Arkham Knight, either after 30 mins to 1 hour the game freezes, the screen goes red and audio starts repeating until the computer reboots. This hasn't happened to any other games (yet?) and weirdly enough I could play 2 hours of Arkham Knight yesterday completely fine!
In two instances I was recording the game using ReLive to a ram disk before the crashes occurred. The RX 470 worked completely fine although I hadn't tested it with Arkham Knight. I initially thought this may be power related but even having the power limit at -20% and running below stock clocks does not seem to stop the crashing. Also something to note: downclocking my GPU to 400mhz caused the same sort of crash to occur immediately (albeit the screen went a dark green). ASIC quality of the card is 78% and it seems to be higher than 87% of others' R7 370 so limiting power shouldn't have an effect on it.
I can't be 100% certain but my guess would have to be:
1) ReLive causing crashes
2) Memory issues (game uses 3gb out of 2gb vram)
3) Driver bug
4) Power bug or
5) 1&2/3
