R7 370 4Gb vs R7 370 2Gb vs R9 270 vs GTX 960

I'm looking to replace my 7770. My budget is around $200. I'm gaming at 1080p on a single monitor. Currently playing a modded Fallout New Vegas while waiting for Fallout4 to be released. I have a Corsair Vx450 ps. I've narrowed my choices to these 4

Which would be more bang for the buck?

Are there no R9 285s for sale there? At least here, you can get some great deals on them right now as they are clearing stock. The AMD competitor to the the Nvidia 960 is the 380 (same as a 285 but with slightly higher clocks). The 285/380 will perform a little better than the 960 but use more power. If you can't get one of those cheap where you are, I'd go for the 960.

I have to assume you're limited to single 6-pin as that's what that lineup is.

Here's my thought -

Most BANG - 960 by a wide margin. 30% faster than R9 270, has the advantage of 4k decode in hardware, best support / drivers, and lowest power consumption of the pack.

Most bang for the BUCK - R9 270

And the prices...

R9 270 2GB is $125 AR, $144 before - this one is a single 6-pin :

@Shady Yes my ps only have 1 six pin connector


Just saw this. Zotac GTX 760 Zalman VF3000 2gb. Its selling for $160 locally but it needs 8-pin × 1 and 6 pin × 1 auxiliary power to run

The 960 is slightly faster in new games than a 760, and uses a LOT less power. With your power supply, you really shouldn't be considering any other card than the 960.

Man, I was going to recommend a new power supply now followed by an R9 290 later, but the effect of the R9 3xx seems to have been skyrocketing 290 prices. Even cards with the stock blower (which sucks - loudly) they are back up to $250, and cards with good coolers are often over $300. Considering the GTX970, that's insane. Sux.

The GTX960 out of all those, if the choices were higher mid-range cards then I wouldn't mention the GTX960, I have a 960 4GB and I could be using a better GPU- I had a GTX760 and GTX770, R9 280X, R9 290 beforehand.

^ and yeah I don't get the R9 290/290X price hike after the 3xx releases.
