Gist is something about new socket and intergrated graphics. Now if this is a april fools then it feels a little more believable than the google toilet powered broadband.

i'm pretty sure thats all true...i havn't heard the term RenderX before, but i assume its referring to that external processor on the R600 boards...though its purpose escapes me at the moment.

ediot: i re-read it, and yeah, that thing about the two R600 dies is pretty much impossible. you can't just put two cores there unless they will use system memory, in which case the interconnect would be much, much slower than a conventional vid card. plausible perhaps, but highly unlikely. and i'm pretty sure TWO R600 cores (much less one) would use far too much power for a CPU socket.

re-ediot: and furthermore, i highly doubt any fusion solution will be faster than a 8600GTS.
