And you're hoping they're not. Whats the diff? How about we wait and see? Its not as bad as all that. If accurate, worse case scenario is they are on par with the gf7 series.

Taken with what little context you gave him, his quote does NOT prove that he's hoping the benchmarks are not true. Quit leaping to assumptions.

I haven't said a word on this yet, but here goes:
Who cares if they are real or not? They are not based off final specs or drivers. We don't even know other system components are being used. The 7800s could be matched with FX57s and the X1800s could be matched with a 2.4ghz Pentium 4.
Everyone just needs to shut up until the cards come out.

He goes buy x80064 and he insulted someone for owning a diff brand of vid card. Hardly a leap.

You're full of crap. When did he insult anyone?
Asking Duvie "Can't handle the pressure on your 7800?" is a taunt, more than likely in jest. That's far from an insult. Just using his screenname to try to brand him is also jumping to ASSUMPTIONS. It could be a joke screenname for all we know.
and I'm not going to fight with you. Although I would suggest you have a look at your own predjudices before accusing others. And you're hoping they're not. Whats the diff? How about we wait and see? Its not as bad as all that. If accurate, worse case scenario is they are on par with the gf7 series
