BUddy this is a repost from days ago and consumes about a dozen or so threads on the topic now....

The numbers are skeptical do to unknown methodology, not first hand person benches, used speed of 600/1400 when the final speed is supposedly not set, etc.....I say we all just wait until we see more reviews of final review product in no way are they lies but may not represent the end story...ATI themselves is mum about this final speed and evidently major oEMs still dont have the cards in hand...

Who cares if they are real or not? They are not based off final specs or drivers. We don't even know other system components are being used. The 7800s could be matched with FX57s and the X1800s could be matched with a 2.4ghz Pentium 4.

I don't understand what you're asking.
I'm happy with my 7800 - I just think it's pointless to argue about benchmarks that may or may not be real on products that haven't even been released, and run on hardware that is unknown.

right, because it makes sense for ANY reviewer to CPU limit the card....

i think its safe the assume that all the reviews we will see will be using a FX chip or the likes
