Two things are true about nvidia's next gen card..... Either the card is not ready and nvidia was not able to give Carmack a working model or he was given a next gen card but..... for that answer see my sig.

I can't believe it either. Matrox Parhelia is 80 million transistors @ .15 micron and I have heard it is only capable of 200 - 220 MHz. I bet the R300 is going to be .13 micron.
Well the Parhelia was dropped in core and mem speeds to keep price down .... Im also thinking the R300 will be .13um but i dont think there isnt a way NOT to get 107m transistors into the R300 core.
BTW the R300 is suppose to be called the Radeon 10000. Can house up to 256MB DDR and also feature 2xTruform engines!
