R0 vs M0 stepping : how much of a diff ...

The newer e7400 and e5300 have a R0 stepping while the older e7x00 and e5200 have a M0 stepping. Has the M0 to R0 stepping change made any real difference for these budget C2 models ? Can't find any R0 info/reviews on the net.

I am fairly sure RO is with 1/2 the cache neutered, such as my chip. I am not positive but fairly sure.
