You guys see this crazy looking RTS game? When I watched the video I had a flash back to Power Monger were your view was that of a table top. The game play looks a lot different then your typical RTS and seems pretty promising to me. Though all that could be a ruse 😀

Steam also has a public beta available you can get in on when released.

You can preload the public beta right now and it starts on March 9th.

The game looks cool and I know I'll probably like it, but wont buy it due to Ubisoft's DRM. So, the beta is the only play of it I will get.

The concept sounds kind of gimmicky.. If they can pull it off, it could be a great game, but there's a lot of room for failure in uncharted waters.

Eugen systems is great. They made Act of War which is by far my most favorite RTS ever. They dont pump out crap every 6 months to make a quick buck. I like them.

I don't know what to think of this. I like the idea, and it's kind of fun, but the UI is so bad. I don't just mean bad, I mean it's fucking horrible. This has to be the worst UI I've seen in a game in a long time.

It's going to take a lot of getting used to before I figure out if I actually like the game or not.

I played a game, 3v3

everyone on my team was level one, everyone on their team was level 15 ++

we got our asses handed to us, and it wasnt much fun, so I quit

Yep. It feels really consoley (is that a word?).

I kind of like it. Like World in Conflict with some base building and resource collection.
