Yes I did. All my working life. How does that make it earned? I've been on SS for just over four years and I have already taken out more than I put in over my working career. How is that fair to the taxpaying citizens?

It took this nation almost 80 years of Social Security to get us to this failure. We need to reverse the trend and end social security over a 50 year period. It might have been a noble idea but it is a failure.

Oh jeez. SS is solvent. Its just we keep spending money sending you tards to war. How can you be so stupid when you are that old? Fuck me.

I get three retirement checks. Two of which I earned.

Ah, so entitlements are "earned" when the cash flow's coming your way, eh?

Millions throughout history have served their nation-states without receiving a free ride afterwards, yet just because we have the wealthy New Englanders and Californians to carry you, suddenly it's "earned"?

If you don't believe in wealth transfer, give the money back to the people who really earned it.
An 80 IQ'er who signed on a dotted line to get shot at hasn't really earned much of anything. Such cattle are everywhere. That liberal philosophy grants them a boon of value out of a tangled web of emotion doesn't say what their true market value was.

Anyone who doubts that Rick Perry is going to run for President should watch this speech.

It it essentially a draft stump speech given at the Republican leadership council.

He stumbles over a few points and parts of it don't work. But given a few more weeks of practice and some fine tuning it should be a very effective speech for getting Republican primary voters to vote for him.

He is also one of the few candidates who can appeal to the fiscal conservatives and the religious conservatives. His record on both sides is good.

Yes! He's running and I am happy about it. The more the better. If only the Democrats would have a race, so that they could find new and better ideas. The ones they have now are not working.

With all due respect you're an idiot. You wouldn't know a good idea if it ...

I spent many years in the Marine Corps. Over ten of them out side this country. Some of those places were none to friendly, either. That is an earned retirement. The other one I earned was in the private sector market place as a commercial airline pilot. I earned and saved my pay for that retirement. It's only the Social Security that I figure I didn't earn.

You have an off topic disagreement going on and no one is talking about Rick Perry, his speech or whether he will run for president.

But we are highlighting the retardation of southerners. Tell you what, when the southern states pull there own in regards to taxes we will let you talk about whats wrong.

...and what thread hasn't gone off topic...

But on the topic Rick Perry panders, as do many seeking office, and if he wants to run for President, then he'll have to deal with the succession issue...

\and I hope I'm one of the Stooges you mentioned - cause I want to be Moe....

Inflation, yup, we've got that now with Bobo, the Post Turtle.

Oh I see. So because you are on a fixed income you want deflation so that YOUR money is worth more. Economy be damned as long as governmentworker777 gets his.

Try using the correct words. It will help the discussion.

Oh, just in case you are interested and you did not use the wrong word, the Lt. Governor will succeed to the office of Governor when he wins the office of President, 6 NOV 2012 and takes the office on 20 JAN 2013.

Why would I want deflation? Besides that I never said that nor did I imply any such thing.

Maybe you didn't know it but the absence of inflation is not deflation.

So now I get it. The babyboomers are older now and they want deflation to pump up their feeble retirement crap. Still fucking us I see until they are 6 feet under.

This country won't survive another "Texas miracle" in its current shape.

It will be a major miracle if this country survives the next year and a half under the "leadership" (Yes, I use that word as a joke, in this case.) of Bobo, the Post Turtle.

Earned? Hell no!
The Republican ideal is for maximum profit -- no free ride, workers never get paid a dime over what they are producing.
Now, what is the least that we can get away with paying you?
ZERO.

You are producing nothing. You are economically worthless. So, as a US taxpayer, I hereby FIRE YOU.

Get back to work you fucking lazy shithole welfare scum.

It is the Blue States who pay more in taxes than they receive, so it is from the Democrats that your money comes. If you cannot give our philosophy any respect, then stop taking the result of that philosophy: Your welfare check.

If you want to be an upstanding conservative, then STAND. Don't rest your entire reality on the basis of liberal philosophy and then spout some bullshit song and dance about how your imaginary model is superior.
If your model is so fucking brilliant, how about you live in accordance with it instead of deluding yourself with convenient falsehoods?

I keep trying.

1. He's running.

2. I like it.

3. He will win.

You seem stupid enough, so I'll put up $5,000 and give you 10 to 1 odds on your paltry $500, to be held in advance by an agreed upon third party.

Either answer the call like a man of your convictions or crawl away in cowardice and shame, troop.

No blowhard bloviation, no weasel deflection dismissal or personal attack . . . no yip yap at all, please, just step up or stand down.

Well?
