Whether you loved his wit, hated his posts, or don't even know who he was (probably most of you)...bctbct was my brother. And we found out today that he has passed away.
He was a good man, a big brother I looked up to, an even better father. He will be missed by many. I am sad that my 3 month old son will never get to know his uncle. I am sad that my mother and father had to bury a son. I am sad that his daughter will never again get to play softball with him watching from the stands, cheering her on. I don’t know how I will go to work each day, not having him stopping in my office, a grin on his face, smoking an e-cigarette, wanting to talk about the current project.
He was always to first to help someone, friend or stranger. He was giving, sending money to disaster relief, helping neighbor when they needed it, making sure that people got what they needed, even if it meant he did with less.
Sometimes the best lights burn out the fastest, before they really get to shine.
RIP Mark, We will all miss you.

Here is a slideshow I made for his memorial today.
Please watch it and help me remember him.
