R/C Battery Pack - Question

I bought two R/C car for my nephew for x-mas, it comes with 4.8v 600mah battery. It looks like 4 AA battery size. I like to know if you guys know where to get higher mAh battery pack. They're like tyco rc but not exactly. I found larger ones but not same size at high mah. Thanks
 
You can get AA size batteries with solder tabs from Batteryspace.com.

NiCd batteries are better for R/C cars with powerful motors since they can deliver more current (less internal resistance) but if it is a cheaper R/C you will probably be OK with NiMH.
