qustion about power supply

Hi, this might be a stupid question. but what I want to do is to upgrade my celeron PC to Athlon 1.4G, therefore I need to
get a better power supply. My question is, is all power supplies of the same size so that I can replace my current PS
by a new PS with my old case? thanks a lot for your help.

Yes, all (well, most) power supplies are a uniform size so you can swap them in and out of your case. Be sure to get AT LEAST a 300W unit for a 1.4. Others recommend higher, but my system is perfectly fine with 300W. Good luck.
