Qustion about Motherboard interfaces,

I know that on modern motherboards the AGP card slot is Brown, Well on one of my old motherboards goes to an amd 40 Mhz system socket 3 or something, don't fell like looking right now. It has three brown adapters, what are these adapters. I know that they can't be AGP adapter but the look like AGP interfaces.

just a guess, but perhaps VESA slots? (pre-cursor to ISA)

VESA is post ISA; pre PCI.
