Utterly outrageous. They can walk the streets of London with signs saying "Death to infidels" but a British politician can't quote Churchill because it's harassment? I feel sorry for the native English.

Gotta love the hypocrisy of these idiots. Where was Earl when anjem choudary and his group burned the poppy?

England is losing freedom of speech and becoming a backwards country. This is completely unacceptable and it's disgusting many but not all POS leftist scumbags won't call out this nonsense.

This is too much political correctness and the failure of multiculturalism.

Piss off you fuckcunt.

Unfortunately all this is weak leaders making weak and wrong decisions. We're seeing too much of this in the western world. Too many weak people anxious to not offend anything they see as potentially threatening.

Although it has to be said Churchill was a pretty big racist.

I was curious so looked at UK's free speech laws...

United Kingdom citizens have a negative right to freedom of expression under the common law.[98] In 1998, the United Kingdom incorporated the European Convention, and the guarantee of freedom of expression it contains in Article 10, into its domestic law under the Human Rights Act. However there is a broad sweep of exceptions including threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior intending or likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress or cause a breach of the peace (which has been used to prohibit racist speech targeted at individuals),[99][100][101] sending another any article which is indecent or grossly offensive with an intent to cause distress or anxiety (which has been used to prohibit speech of a racist or anti-religious nature),[102][103][104] incitement,[105] incitement to racial hatred,[106] incitement to religious hatred, incitement to terrorism including encouragement of terrorism and dissemination of terrorist publications,[105][107] glorifying terrorism,[108][109][110] collection or possession of a document or record containing information likely to be of use to a terrorist,[111][112] treason including compassing or imagining the death of the monarch or advocating for the abolition of the monarchy (which cannot be successfully prosecuted),[113][114][115][116][117] sedition,[114] obscenity,[118] indecency including corruption of public morals and outraging public decency,[119] defamation,[120] prior restraint, restrictions on court reporting including names of victims and evidence and prejudicing or interfering with court proceedings,[121][122] prohibition of post-trial interviews with jurors,[122] scandalising the court by criticising or murmuring judges

Holy shit, almost everything is exempt. Even asking for the monarchy to be abolished is technically illegal (although thankfully never prosecuted)

Because they are dumb rednecks, its all good right? Aren't you the one who always points out that the extremists/terrorists of islam represent a very tiny percentage of the faith, and it should not be judged based on them?

What percentage of Christians do you think the southern baptists represent?

England has sent a request to France to borrow their surrender flag. I suspect Obama is also requesting some.

Yes, child marriage is still common in lot's of developing areas of the world

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_marriage

This correlation between higher age of marriage in civil law and observed frequency of child marriages breaks down in countries with Islam as the state religion. In Islamic nations, many countries do not allow child marriage of girls under their civil code of laws. But, the state recognized Sharia religious laws and courts in all these nations have the power to override the civil code, and often do. UNICEF reports that the top five nations in the world with highest observed child marriage rates — Niger (75%), Chad (72%), Mali (71%), Bangladesh (64%), Guinea (63%) — are Islamic majority countries.[11]

Yes; lots.

Yes; lots.

I'm going to have to guess it will probably be at least another 100 years if ever that those countries will come up to our standards now.
Of course who knows where we will be then, lot's of people pressing to go backwards here too
