Quota error?

Does anyone know what a quota-type error means?

I should've been a smart person and written the error down word for word, but I thought I could remember it.

In short, it went something like "There is not enough quota ..." and functionally seemed to translate as not enough memory/let's have all applications stop running (as well as no new applications).

I had been running a game for awhile (in the background) while doing other tasks, so I suppose something along is quite possible.

My computer runs fine now after a restart, so I'm more curious than concerned. Take your time in responding and thanks!

Sounds like your system runs out of memory, and then attempts to use virtual memory, but your VM quota is too low. Either purchase more RAM or bump up the available disk space that can be used for virtual memory. This can be done in the Performance tab when you right-click on My Computer and select "Properties". Although I would recommend adding more RAM, as virtual memory is considerably slower and less efficient than system memory (more overhead and more latency).

Heh. I have 2 GB of RAM - max for my laptop. Then again, I did leave it running for awhile.
