yep.. I can go to Safeway buy some deli meat and get a few veggies and make a Subway sandwich right in the checkout lane, nothing special at all really about em. I myself do like the Toasting.

Safeway? Must be a regional reference in an international forum. East Coast US here. Never heard of it (There are VERY FEW national grocery chains).

Quizno's sucks and Subway is about the same. The only way to get a good sandwich is to find a local deli that cares about it's customers and spends money on the ingredients rather than national ad campaigns. When you want a good burger you don't go to McDonalds, when you want a good pizza you don't call Dominoes and when you want a good taco you don't go to Taco Bell. Why on earth would you believe that Quiznos or Subway is any better than any other national fast food chain? I can name at least a dozen places in Connecticut that blow Quiznos and Subway out of the water.
