has anyone here ever successfully quit? someone i know recently started (2-3 months ago), and I want to know what I can do to help. They definitely want to quit, i'm just not sure what myself or this person's family should be doing to help.

Thanks,
Vivan

they'll quit if they want to, like mr. surfsatwerk said. If they don't want to, then myob.

If the individual wanted to quit they would stop. 2 or 3 months of use does not an addiction make.

Uh, that is entirely enough time for the body to become adjusted to and dependent on an addictive substance.

I'd recommend they see their doctor. The doctor can help make both behavioral and medical recommendations (like the patch) to help them quit.
