Or if you quit for no good reason (or because you're a whiny b!tch) and leave your co-workers to pick up your slack....then you're just an a$$hole. That door can swing both ways.

Do they have good reason?

If you're being fired unfairly, there is a possibility of getting unemployment by having a hearing.
 
Only good thing about quitting is that future employers won't see that you were fired.

However if you are fired, you get unempoyment, etc. I'd always go for being fired than quitting unless you already had another job lined up.
