Just had this thing delivered:

37.5 lbs in the shipping box, it is absolutely huge. Probably overpriced at $315 but I got a new copy from a seller on Amazon for ~$120 shipped.

Eventually I would love to own a full set of the magazines but this is a good start.

Way to completely miss the point. Of course they're already on the internet (what isn't?). This thing is nearly as big as my 30" monitor, and on heavy paper. That is something the internet just can't compete with.

That is a hell of an investment. My dad has every magazine since it was started and the value of the first two Marilyn Monroe ones is outrageous. He's got like three of each.

He also professionally reconditions the magazines and makes a ton of money on eBay reselling them.

You probably got the 2nd edition that is much smaller (physically) and includes two more years. This one is the original, with full centerfold sized pages.
