Quite possibly the best PSU ever?

Two 12v rails, 18A each, ATX 2.0, and around 100 bucks. Sure, you can buy better, but not much better, and for 108 plus shipping, that's a damn good PSU. Can you top it?

Looks good. Enermax has some high quality products. $100 seems like a good deal. 485 watts is more than enough (unless you're running a FX-55, Dual 6800 Ultras and four HDDs).

IMO, its better to wait for the COOLER MASTER JAGGUARNAUT MLine series. Cool blue LEDs, 2 120mm fans, 500 watts, 2 12 volt rails with 40 amps on each. Pure awesome.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt that there are 2 rails with 40 amps on each MAYBE 40 combined but not on each. Also i HIGHLY doubt that it has 2x 120 mm fans. Where in the hell would they put them?? We can barely fit one as it is where is the other going to blow air?!?

You might want to research a bit before you post.

Hmmm, after working with google I have come to the conclusion that this "jagguarnaut" is simply a pipe dream, nothing more, nothing less.

Hopefully I am wrong as 80 total amps would be, well, unbelievable, but as Kevin said, please do some research before posting.

I have the active pfc version of this power supply, and I like it.
It sure is quiet. I kind of wish it had a fan only connector like Antec power supplies do though.

I just bought the active PFC 470W version of this. Wanted the 485W version, but FrozenCPU's shipping to APO is cheaper and didn't have 485W version. It's only a 15W difference, 470W is still in the "this PSU is a beast" category."

My generic Orion 400W PSU's 5V rail dropped to 3.5V on IDLE last night...eek! I wish my X-Connect still worked. It would at least hold me over until the Enermax got here.

You can get something almost as good for 1/3 of the price.
Still dual rails, just slightly less.
370W version
Imagine if you bought 2 of them for a single system 😀

How would one go about that? Just do the green wire-to-ground on the 2nd PSU's ATX cable?

I was thinking something simpler. Perhaps have PSU #1 connected to the primary components like the motherboard, CPU, & video card(s) while PSU #2 powers up the fans, drives, etc.

EDIT: Plus possibly what you said. I'm sure there's a guide somewhere on the net on how to go about it.

Well just having the 2nd PSU power stuff up can't work because, since it's not hooked up to a motherboard, then without wiring the green wire to the ground wire on the ATX connector, the PSU will never power up on its own. Maybe there are cases with this as a function that work around this?
