This guy made his friends an amazing gift, a box with a GPS that will only allow it to open when it's at the right location. There was a little piece about it in the L.A. Times today.

He gives vague instructions on how to do it, as well as the coding libraries he used, but not the specific code. How hard do you think it would be to code this? Especially for someone who's never coded. I would love to make one!
 
he's getting a lot of exposure for this. even has applied for a patent on this. awesome idea. I hope he ends up making some money off of this
