Quite hs/f for 3800xp

Greetings!

recently my stock hs/f that came with my athlon 64 3800 (non-x2) bit it. I am looking for a relativly silent after market heatsink to use. I do not overclock but It would be nice if it was cool enough to use for future cpu upgrades.

I have an antec P180 case and the socket 939 board i use has the 4 pin connector at the top left, so the wire from the psu barely makes it around the board as it is, so i would prefer a hs/f that wouldnt require me getting an extension for that wire to dance around it.

Having always ran things at stock speeds I never really made notice of the heatsinks out there 🙁

ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU for silent operation and above par cooling. Its rather big, so do some measurements and make sure you have some room.

yeah, canada is really poor for buying online. i hear newegg is coming, in the future awhile ago though. I've used ncix a few times, no problems with em, they got a good pricematch feature too.

I once bought a mb that was out of stock, and had it shipped air next day free of charge! i ended up getting it faster then if it went on the same day as ground (they're in bc, im in qc)

Thanks for the suggestions to help me off, looks like ive got some reading to do!
